Partner
A registered nurse before she was a lawyer. She handles diagnosis and birth cases and reads the nursing notes first.

Associate
Builds each case’s chronology and keeps the record requests moving, hospital by hospital.
Beyond the three of us
Each case has two readers outside the firm. An independent physician in the relevant specialty reviews the records and tells us, in writing or by phone, what they see. When the chart is mostly nursing care, a registered nurse consultant reads it too.
Neither works for the hospital involved, and neither is told what answer we hope for. We ask them to read first and conclude second.
